So we get to the location and hang out outside for like, half an hour to make sure we weren’t going to be surprised by the cops.
After walking all over the grounds, we caught glimpses of people through the trees. I assumed they were the cops, but popular consensus said they were homeless.
So we sneak around the building and take some photos before we realized there was a white truck puttering around the grounds. At first we decided it was either scrappers or the landowner. Either way we weren’t deterred.
After exploring another story of the building we saw the truck again, but this time could plainly see that it had the word SHERRIFF emblazoned on the side. That helped us decide it was time to GTFO.
We made it back down to the front door and that asshole was RIGHT THERE! Thankfully he didn’t see us as we sneaked around a corner, down the hall and out the back, thank you fire escape.
After crashing through some bushes we hit a road that took us off the property on the back side and out to the main road. After about a half mile walk back to the car, we made our escape and had a safe trip home.

Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Popsicle.
I started the design and drawing of this last week and painted it a couple of days ago.
It’s 20”x24” spray paint on canvas.
This is what happens when a colorblind dude gets a box full of colors, paints some shit and takes a photo of it at night with a shitty camera.

Abandoned and burned school.
Founded in the early 1900’s, abandoned in the early 2000’s and burned in January of this year.
This is probably the most dangerous and high-risk exploration CKD has ever undertaken.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained. It was a fantastic day.

My camera was dead so all these photos I took with my BlackBerry.
This place was a big deal when it was in use. It has a parking deck connected by a bridge on the 5th floor, and is about 9 stories tall in total. It was very dark inside and I couldn’t get very good photos, but in the parking deck the lighting was pretty good, so that’s where most of the photos were taken.
I really want to go back but after my recent experiences with the law, I’m not so sure I will. It’s a shame too, because no one else has been in there aside from the occasional homeless person, but the trash they left behind was so dusty I know no one’s been in there in a VERY long time.
We pretty much accidentally found the place too. It was a great day. Especially since it is located directly across from the police station. From the top of the deck we had a great view of them coming and going.
Again I say, fuck the police.
